Biography of HOFFMAN

Greg Hoffman, a.k.a. HOFFMAN, was born in Reims (France) in 1981.

He enters the world of the music at the age of six to the conservatoire academy of Reims where he will study the percussion, sound design and singing for ten years.

A fan of rock then funk / soul (Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock) he begins his experimentation by playing with the other musicians, in some groups as a drummer.

Also a fan of pop, dance and of electro music, it is then that he meets an electro producing DJ -Trance ( Electroslide), then that of Yuksek, he decides to buy his first one sampler and dashes into the great adventure of the electronic production with a rather enigmatic style mixing all his influences.

After arriving in Paris in 2007, he signs with Carlos Campo (Resident of Bario Latino) the title Adio Arena on Craze record who goes out on compiles her Style of Trendy by Benjamin Franklin.

HOFFMAN understands while it is necessary for him to arm himself with robust productions and decides to work on his pieces and defines his own style.

With time, his HOFFMAN formulas becomes magnetically funky, and to power pop with: heavy beats, rhythmic electro to dance-floor, in automated multi-phonic voices, dop with in hormones of vocodeurs and talk-box, the audacious marriage of a electro music in spices funkadélissime, melodies acidulated in the sauce revival year 80 the whole with a modern prod of another time.

A surprising set by its electric vibrations, if envoutantes, a real invitation in the “transedance.”
